"Just finished replacing some legs on a few dock sections that Randy built and installed about 20 years ago. Someone had "scabbed" extensions on the legs when the dock sections had been moved to deeper water a number of years ago and these modifications were weakening. I was concerned that bracing or other parts of the pier might need to be replaced along with the legs but I was pleased to find all of Randy's original cedar was still quite solid. I had to work at pulling the nails when removing the old legs (figured they'd just fall out by now) and the existing wood felt solid while driving nails for the replacement legs that I got through Randy. These docks are built to last!"
